Workshop 2: Pilates and the Foam Roller

Add new interest and more of a challenge to your Pilates classes incorporating the Foam Roller. Working from beginner level through to advanced, this workshop, will teach you a whole range of new exercises to improve core strength, proprioception and joint mobility. The body responds to the instability of the Foam Roller to remain balanced, engaging many different muscles simultaneously. Develop an ability to identify weaknesses in the body and use a variety of Pilates-inspired exercises on the Foam Roller to remedy those weaknesses and enhance strengths. This course will also incorporate a section titled: “Rehabilitation exercises on the Foam Roller

Successful Swissbody® Pilates Academy certification through Level 2 and Level 3 Matwork or at least 60 hours of Pilates teacher training with an internationally recognized program.
