Guest Workshops 3 / 6th May (4 Hours)

Given by Pat Guyton 2nd generation Pilates Master

Course Contents

Remaining within the topic of symmetry vs. asymmetry as an element of movement, during the second day, Part 2 workshop, Pat will focus on the transverse and coronal planes studying the asymmetrical organization which is imperative to the Pilates principles. Pat says: “I am getting good feedback from my work with the ribcage and rotation. I am also collaborating with one of the original Rolf therapists. We are working on the facial lines that run through the body – what she feels and what I see. I am interested in the cervical spine and how we can get our students to connect into the feeling of a spiral in a Cleopatra from foot to occiput and other such exercises”.

Pat will be including important work on the NECK.
